Although Celcom suffered significant declines in most indicators, this did not stop the company from being committed in its capital expenditure (capex).

In fact, in Q1 2016, it invested the most in capex amongst the incumbents, at RM174 million – part of its full-year capex budget of RM1.2 billion.

Maxis is setting aside as much as RM1.3 billion in capex, while Digi has a capex plan of approximately RM900 million this year.
