“We are excited about the move as it is a testament to our growth in the region,” said Simon Lee, Interactive Intelligence regional director for Asia.
“As the Asia Pacific Hq, we are servicing over 1,000 clients – hence the requirement for a new environment with more facilities and manpower.

As the Asia Pacific headquarters for Interactive Intelligence, Malaysia will continue managing countries such as China (including Hong Kong), Indonesia, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Interactive Intelligence said it has expanded its customer base across its key markets in Asia Pacific and is positioned and equipped now with a strong product portfolio and solid growth strategy.

Recurring revenue, including support fees from on-premise licence agreements and fees from cloud-based customers, increased 27% to US$44.6 million and accounted for 56% of total revenue.
Cloud-based revenue increased 77% to US$13.9 million. Product revenue was US$21.5 million and services revenues US$13.7 million, compared with US$27.9 million and US$13.2 million, respectively, in the second quarter of 2013.
