Prepaid revenue, ARPU and market share
In the prepaid space, Digi continued to flex its muscles as the mobile operator with the largest prepaid revenue.
During the quarter, Maxis experienced a minor decline in its prepaid revenue to RM1.02 billion, while Celcom suffered a 14% decline to RM803 million!
In terms of prepaid ARPU, Maxis leads the pack with an average ARPU of RM39 a month, while Digi has RM35 and Celcom has RM29.
In the same quarter a year ago, it was Digi that led the pack with a prepaid ARPU of RM39, followed by Maxis with RM38 and Celcom at RM33.
