With people being its most valuable asset, Maxis has always strived to bring out the best in employees through its culture and values. The company’s culture of continuous learning, young talent campus, partner engagements and strong engagement initiatives have resulted in two recent recognitions – Champion in the Graduates’ Choice Award 2022 for the telecommunications category, and first runner up in the M100 Leading Graduate Employers Awards 2021 for the telecommunications category.
“At Maxis, our culture has always been our guiding light as we develop new talent. Being chosen as a top employer in the country is a testament to the efficacy of our strong Maxis Way 2.0 culture and our engagement with both prospective and existing talent pool,” said Natalia Navin (pic, below), chief human resources officer, Maxis.
“In our commitment to building a world-class and efficient organisation, we will continue to provide meaningful career opportunities for our people and upskill existing employees’ capabilities to support a digital Maxis,” she added.
The Graduates’ Choice Award saw over 23,000 Malaysian undergraduates from more than 100 private and public universities voting for the nation’s Most Preferred Graduate Employers to Work for in 2022. As the winner of the telecommunications category and seventh place overall, Maxis joins the ranks of companies such as Google, Intel, Maybank, Microsoft, Intel, and others.
Similarly, the M100 Leading Graduate Employers Awards ranking is formed by thousands of Malaysian student votes from universities across the country via the annual M100 Survey, giving them the opportunity to share their needs and wants in their first jobs. Maxis improved in its rankings this year becoming the first runner up in the telecommunications category.
To ensure its people are future-ready and enabled to always be ahead, Maxis has scholarship, internship and graduate programmes which have a strong focus on developing young talents and women in Science, Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) skills, as well as leadership and innovation capabilities.
