Both smartwatches can be purchased from Lazada, Shopee, AECO e-store and all authorised retailers, the company said, in a statement.
The Venu 2 Plus is launched in conjunction with a special collaboration with Jovian, a local designer apparel brand founded by Jovian Mandagie where every purchase of the smartwatch comes with a box of thirty 3-ply masks, it said.
This set purchase can be found available within Garmin brand stores and Jovian’s webstore. The limited edition, disposable masks can also be purchased separately at Jovian stores and online through the webstore and dropship orders at RM 25.
Stylised with real ticking watch hands that move to reveal a hidden touchscreen display, Garmin said the vívomove Sport is designed for those who seek a subtle way to stay connected while tracking their health using a series of essential tools such as all-day stress tracking, body battery monitoring, hydration logging and more.
Inspired by sophistication and comfort, the vívomove Sport features a silicone band and color-coordinated watch dial in warm colorways added with refined metallic accents that boost dimension.
It is powered with a battery life of up to five days in smartwatch mode with up to an additional day in watch mode (hands only).
The vívomove Sport can be used with either Android or Apple smartphones with smart notifications for incoming calls, text messages, social media updates and alerts, Garmin said.
Alternatively, Garmin said the Venu 2 Plus provides a full-bodied entourage of health and fitness features including: sleep score with insights, stress tracking, energy monitoring, Pulse Ox , women’s health features and a wide variety of fitness and workout options.
The Venu 2 Plus has 75+ preset animated workouts for cardio, yoga, strength, HIIT and Pilates that demonstrate proper form and technique in Garmin Connect and on the wrist, Garmin said.
Its new voice functionality empowers users to take calls and connect to their smartphone’s voice assistant to send texts, ask questions and operate smart home devices.
This feature is compatible with Siri, Google Assistant and Samsung's Bixby, it said.
Powered with a bright AMOLED display and a battery life that claims to operated up to nine days, the latest Venu 2 Plus is a direct line to both connectivity and wellbeing, Garmin said.
Scoppen Lin, assistant general manager, Garmin Asia, said “Both smartwatches promote beyond health awareness where safety and tracking features such as the automatic incident detection helps send a message with the user’s location to their emergency contacts,” said Lin.
“Garmin’s LiveTrack allows friends and families to track the user’s outdoor activity and users can even assign a designated emergency contact for the Venu 2 Plus.”
