DNA Video: Samsung Galaxy S6 edge … and the US$92K Iron Man!
By Keith Liu June 18, 2015
AN Iron Man edition of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge was auctioned off in China for CNY 568,788 or the equivalent of US$91,635, reported Business Korea.
Samsung Mobile launched the limited edition version of its flagship smartphone (pic, above) in May 2015 as part of its tie-in with Marvel Studios for the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie.
The Korean smartphone maker reportedly planned 16 million units for the China market, but this particular unit, which comes with the serial number 66, symbolises good luck, resulting in more than 92 thousand bids on e-commerce site JD.com for the item.
In case you don’t fancy the stock colours available, this special edition can be sourced from sites like eBay, but don’t expect it to come cheap.
