F5 Networks appoints Vishal Singh as Asean VP

• 20yr industry vet held senior sales roles with Oracle and Microsoft
• To chart company’s revenue growth and penetrate new markets

F5 Networks has announced the appointment of Vishal Singh (pic) as regional vice president for sales in the Asean region.
 
Based in Singapore, he will be responsible for charting the company’s revenue growth and penetrating new markets, F5 Networks said in a statement.
 
Vishal reports to Emmanuel Bonnassie, senior vice president of sales for the Asia Pacific region.
 
“Global demand for application services is growing significantly as a result of the proliferation of apps, causing changes to enterprises’ architectural infrastructure,” said Bonnassie.
 
“Equipped with a wealth of experience in executive management and sales, as well as indepth knowledge of the Asean market, Vishal will be invaluable to F5’s further success here,” he added.
 
Vishal joins F5 with over 20 years’ experience, having held senior sales roles with industry players like Oracle and Microsoft.
 
Most recently, he was vice president, Sales (Network & Software) in Asean and ANZ for Oracle Communications Global Business Unit.
 
“Asean is an important market for F5, as well as a key strategic region for F5’s global expansion,” said Vishal.
 
“I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate and engage with our partners and customers to drive adoption in strategic areas like security and cloud in today’s app market,” he added.
