F5 appoints Emmanuel Bonnassie to lead APAC sales

F5 appoints Emmanuel Bonnassie to lead APAC salesF5 Networks has announced the appointment of Emmanuel Bonnassie (pic) as senior vice president of sales for the Asia Pacific region.
 
He is based in Singapore and will be responsible for accelerating the growth of F5’s business across 14 countries in the region, the company said in a statement.
 
Bonnassie brings more than 13 years of experience in technology sales and business development to the role. He joined F5 in 2012, previously serving as the company’s vice president of sales for Northern and Eastern Europe.
 
Before F5, he was regional director and general manager of emerging markets for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Brocade. He has also held positions with QLogic and Dell in the United States.
 
“Manu [Bonnassie] is a highly experienced and effective sales executive who was a crucial contributor to the strong growth we have seen in EMEA,” said Dave Feringa, executive vice president of worldwide sales.
 
“We are tremendously pleased with his appointment and I’m confident he will be able to accelerate our robust business in the region, as well as provide invaluable insight and solutions to our customers and partners.”
 
Bonnassie holds a Master of Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology and engineering degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology and ENSEEIHT in Toulouse, France.
 
“Growth in Internet users, web traffic, connected devices and applications in Asia Pacific continues to be phenomenal, and we’re seeing a rapid increase in adoption of security, mobility and cloud initiatives as a result,” said Bonnassie.
 
“This is extremely exciting for F5, as we are ideally positioned to help customers reap maximum returns of their investment, and I am very eager to play a role in doing so here in Asia Pacific,” he added.
