INTEGRASI Erat Sdn Bhd said it has signed a distribution partnership agreement with Frisco, Texas-based unified collaboration software company Zimbra.
The agreement would allow Integrasi Erat to provide Zimbra products to corporate and government customers in Malaysia and Brunei, the Malaysian company said in a statement.
“Zimbra is proud to be partnering with Integrasi Erat to provide organisations in the region with a unified collaboration solution,” said Marcus Teo, Asean sales director at Zimbra.
“By joining forces with Integrasi Erat, we will provide greater visibility and access to Zimbra’s solutions, resulting in enhanced collaboration and business productivity in the Malaysia and Brunei markets,” he added.
Zimbra provides collaboration solutions for the mobile era, connecting people and information with a unified communications software platform that it claims combines traditional and social collaboration.
Its solutions include Zimbra Collaboration, an open source messaging and collaboration solution that includes complete email, address book, calendar, file-sharing and tasks; as well as Zimbra Community, an online community and social networking solution that includes a complete set of social applications designed to enhance customer support and increase employee productivity.
“We have been analysing a few top solutions in the market and selected Zimbra for its competitive technology performance and features,” said Integrasi Erat chief executive officer Zulkifli Mohamed.
“With Zimbra, we can offer partners and organisations a more competitive technology that is designed for social communication and mobility,” he claimed.
