Adobe expands Vineet Sood’s SMB sales role to include SEA                                                                                                       

ADOBE Inc announced that Vineet Sood, head of SMB (small and medium business) sales for India, has been given the regional responsibility to oversee South-East Asia as director, SMB Sales India and South-East Asia.
 
Vineet (pic above) joined Adobe from Symantec in 2011 and immediately played a role in helping redefine the company’s channel sales business in India to become the best performing team in the Asia Pacific region, Adobe said in a statement.
 
He was named Asia Pacific Channel Person of the Year at Adobe’s World Wide Sales Conference last December.
 
Vineet said the expansion of his role to take in South-East Asia along with India was a great opportunity to continue the work he had begun.
 
“It is hard to spot changes while they are happening, but I have worked hard with our channel partners and my team to help identify the factors that make businesses grow,” he said.
 
“I am really looking forward to this fresh challenge using all the experience I have gained during my career,” he added.
 
Adobe South-East Asia managing director Stephen Hamill said, “Vineet has played a crucial role in driving sales in India and his leadership will be a tremendous asset to our South-East Asian team.”
 
In his new role, Vineet will report to Rob Giglio, worldwide vice president, Consumer and SMB Sales.
