MAXIS Berhad has tweaked its new Maxis Home Wireless Internet plan with an off-peak downloading offer that could double users’ data quota at no additional charge.
Customers can get up to a total of up to 48GB of data with no additional monthly fee by downloading during off-peak hours, according to a statement by the company.
“We are pleased to offer our customers these enhanced plans delivering greater peace of mind while downloading during off-peak hours,” said Ebru Dorman, head of Maxis Home.
“With the substantially increased off-peak hour quotas, customers can do more downloads, streaming, uploading videos, and more without worrying about exceeding their quota,” he added.
Off-peak hours are between 2am and 8am. The Maxis Home Wireless Internet plans include the 4GB plan at RM59 per month, the 20GB plan at RM99 per month and the 48GB plan at RM169 per month. From July 1 onwards, existing Home Wireless Internet customers will be automatically upgraded to enjoy the additional quota starting from their next bill cycle, without any extra charges, the company said in its statement.
