SINAR Mas Land, a property developer in Indonesia, launched Techpolitan at The Breeze BSD City. In line with the acceleration plan of BSD City as an integrated smart digital city, Techpolitan was built as an educational and entertainment space intended for youth to express their interest and creative spirit in the digital technology industry.

Techpolitan is an edutainment space that is intended as a digital hub for young people to attend training classes in coding, animation designs, and game development.

Techpolitan aims to bridge the gap between the needs of the digital industry and the skills of Indonesian youth. Techpolitan actively accommodates Indonesian youth’s enthusiasm, interest and talent through four pillars, namely, entertainment, education, employment, and empowerment.

Irvan Yasni, technology business CEO of Sinar Mas Land said, "Techpolitan is a facility that supports digital ecosystem development programmes in BSD City. Currently Sinar Mas Land is working on the Digital Hub project in BSD City, as a forum for gathering digital and technology communities. The vision carried by Techpolitan is to prepare young people to be actively involved in creating changes in people's lives in a better direction through digital technology innovation. The magnitude of the digital potential possessed by Indonesia will certainly boost the progress of the country both from the economy and science if used properly and efficiently. "

Sinar Mas Land has a strong commitment to build BSD City as the largest digital ecosystem in Indonesia. To realise this commitment, Sinar Mas Land has begun the construction of Digital Hub as an area dedicated to 'Silicon Vale' Indonesia.

In addition, Sinar Mas Land also provides channels for Indonesian youth to channel their passion, passion and talent in the world of digital technology through Techpolitan.

Techpolitan focuses on young people as agents of change who have great potential to capitalise on the momentum of the industrial era 4.0. This commitment is realised by Sinar Mas Land in an effort to grow the digital economy in Indonesia.

Techpolitan will provide classes that focus on fostering youth talent in the field of digital technology. The class that Techpolitan presents involves collaboration with parties who are experienced in digital technology such as Geeks Farm, and Sangnila Arts Academy. Some of these classes include 3D Design & Animation classes, Game & Design Making classes, and Coding classes.

Not only focusing on theory, Techpolitan will also realise the results of the creations produced from the classes provided. One of them is by realising the results of 3D Design & Animation animation creations in real form. The results of this animation creation will be realised in three-dimensional (3D) form through 3D printer technology.

One of the most prominent advantages inherent in 3D printing is its ability to produce custom designs. This will be very useful if needed to replace one of the parts that are damaged in an existing product.

"Techpolitan plays a role that focuses on preparing young people as a forerunner of Indonesia's future progress. With synergistic collaboration with digital industry players involved in Techpolitan classes, the results we hope for are the emergence of young innovators in the field of digital technology that contribute to the advancement of Indonesia's science and technology and digital economy, "Irvan said.
