- Packages up to 83% lower than other financial planning services in Malaysia
- Fully-digital service covers six practices, from debt & liability to wealth planning
FINANCIAL marketplace RinggitPlus has launched what it claims to be the country's first digital one-to-one financial planning service for Malaysians.
In a statement, the fintech startup said the service taps into its experience of digitalising a traditional industry and enabling access for Malaysians to engage the services of a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with confidence.
“Since 2012, RinggitPlus has been at the forefront of providing value and transparency to consumers looking for financial products and services,” said Hann Liew, cofounder and director of RinggitPlus (pic).
“I am truly excited that through RinggitPlus Advance, we are expanding our mission in the financial planning space,” added Hann, who is also a CFP and a certified finanical analyst (CFA) charterholder.
RinggitPlus Advance offers financial planning services at transparent and affordable fees with zero hidden charges, the startup said.
The CFPs attached with RinggitPlus Advance are licensed by the Securities Commission of Malaysia and members of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM), it added.
The entire experience is conducted online, from booking, payments, and the CFP consultation sessions and clients are no longer geographically limited from accessing financial advice from a licensed practitioner. RinggitPlus claimed that the packages are up to 83% lower than other financial planning services in the country.
At the same time, clients can expect the same comprehensive, one-to-one guided financial planning service from a CFP, covering six practices: debt & liability management; insurance/risk management; unit trust/investments; tax/zakat planning; and estate/family wealth planning.
For Muslim clients, RinggitPlus Advance also provides advice on Shariah-compliant investment strategies, optimisation of tax payable via zakat and estate planning involving hibah, faraid, and wasiyyah, the startup said.
