Iskandar Investment appoints new president and CEO

• Takes over as president and CEO from Oct 1
• Predecessor Khairil Anwar Ahmad retires

Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) has appointed Idzham Mohd Hashim (pic) as its president and chief executive officer with effect from Oct 1.

Chairman of IIB Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir, said, “On behalf of the board of directors, management and the staff, we welcome the appointment of Idzham as the new president and CEO. His extensive industry experience in property development, ecosystem building, as well as education will further add value to the company and we are confident that he will be a force in developing and driving IIB forward.”

IIB said Idzham has a broad and extensive experience within the property development industry having held significant leadership roles in several organisations such as ENRA Group Berhad, Q Homes Sdn Bhd and Naza TTDI.

He has also served in the automotive, motorsports, education and fast moving conumer goods industries, in which he was responsible for large capital projects, portfolios of improving the local property market ecosystem, building organisational capabilities, and overall business delivery in management, executive, and board roles, IIB said.

Idzham holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com.) from the University of Melbourne.

Amirul said, “I would also like to use this opportunity to sincerely thank the outgoing president and CEO, Datuk Ir Khairil Anwar Ahmad as embarks on his retirement journey.

“He has shown an unparalleled level of commitment and hard work over the 15 years he has been with the company. On behalf of the board of directors and all staff, I wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
