​​Ant’s digital technology business gets new general manager

• Led the international business development team since May 2021
• Responsible for a wide range of innovative fintech solutions, services 

The Digital Technology Business Group of Ant Group has appointed  Derrick Loi (pic) as the general manager of international business.

In a statement, the company said that since May 2021, Loi has been leading the international business development team at Ant Group’s Digital Technology Business group. 

He is also responsible for the productisation, localisation, commercialisation and customer success of a wide range of innovative fintech solutions and services, which include blockchain-enabled capabilities; end-to-end super app development; and digital trust solutions.

With 25 years of experience in fintech, cloud computing, enterprise data center, digital transformation, data security and protection, Loi has been helping customers drive success across a wide range of areas while managing service portfolios in Asia Pacific and global markets.

According to Ant Group, the rise of the digital economy along with customers’ increasing reliance on online services, have created a rising demand for digital trust solutions that make it easier for businesses to transact.

It said gainst this backdrop and with Loi leading the team, the company is well positioned in the region to serve customers and partners with its digital solution portfolios.
