ADA acquires SingPost’s eCommerce unit to expand its solutions across APAC

ADA, an Asian integrated end-to-end eCommerce practice based in Malaysia has announced the acquisition of SingPost’s eCommerce arm. The deal will further strengthen ADA's eCommerce capabilities in technology and enablement, offering clients fully integrated services in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Vietnam, and South Korea.
ADA’s eCommerce practice has grown rapidly and the acquisition further accelerates expansion plans into providing end-to-end eCommerce technology, solutions, and services in the region. ADA believes the deal gives it a competitive edge in the following areas:
CAPABILITY: Fortifies ADA’s presence in the eCommerce technology space with client case studies and thought leadership whitepapers.
CLIENT PORTFOLIO: Adds marquee clients such as Landmark Group SEA, Max Fashion SEA, Babyshop SEA, ANTA, HLA, and Timberland.
TALENT: Grows eCommerce specialists and leaders across all functions, increasing ADA’s eCommerce headcount to over 300 across the key markets of Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore with some some in the other markets.
INTEGRATED SERVICES: Offers a full spectrum of services from integrated media, creative, and analytics, to eCommerce technology and solutions.
Through this acquisition, ADA will seek to deepen its strategic partnership with the SingPost Group in distribution and logistics across Asia. Srinivas believes the acquisition puts ADA in a unique position to boost eCommerce growth in the APAC region, tapping into an anticipated GMV of USD 234 billion by 2025 (CAGR +18%).
