THE Vivo X60 series smartphones, the latest flagships from the Chinese phonemakers, have arrived in Malaysia.
The X60 series – comprising the X60 and X60 Pro – are the inaugural Vivo devices that are designed in collaboration with optics and opto-electronics makers Zeiss, Vivo said in a statement.
The devices are equipped with a camera system co-engineered with Zeiss, resulting in a triple-camera setup on the X60 comprising a 48MP main shooter, a 13MP portrait camera (with 2x optical zoom) and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens.
Both devices will feature Vivo's gimbal stabilisation 2.0 system, which the company claims allows for clearer shots of objects in dynamic motion. Users also gain access to the Zeiss S Biotar Portrait Style, which allows them to create customised professional portraits, Vivo said.
The Vivo X60 series is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, and has a 4,200mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. This goes into powering their 6.56-inch Ultra O Screen, which features 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz response rate running on its edge-to-edge AMOLED display.
Additionally, the X60 series has been awarded with certifications including HDR10+, SGS Eye Care Display, SGS Seamless and Hi-Res Audio, Vivo said.
The more premium X60 Pro features similar specifications to the standard model, but comes with an additional 8MP periscope camera and 5x optical zoom. The Pro variant only comes in one memory configuration: 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Both device share the same colour palettes: Shimmer Blue and Midnight Black.
The Vivo X60 series smartphones will be available for pre-order now at all Vivo concept stores, authorised dealers and collaboration partners including Shopee and Lazada.
The X60 retails at US$655 (RM2,699), while the X60 Pro retails at US$801 (RM3,299).
