Microsoft reveals new Surface lineup for 2019

MICROSOFT announced that pre orders for Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2, including the Surface for Business line-up commenced from Jan 3, 2019 in Malaysia via authorised retailers including All IT, Harvey Norman, Lazada - Microsoft Flagship Store, PC Image, SNS, SenQ / Senheng, and Thunder Match as well as authorised commercial resellers including Prestariang, SoftwareOne, and Ingram Micro.
The next generation of Surface devices are said to deliver enhanced productivity for individuals on-the-go. With the power of Surface, Windows and Office, connected through the cloud, users are empowered to be more creative with their choice of Surface devices.

Though the Surface Pro 6 has a refined exterior that looks familiar it now has a redesigned architecture under its hood to deliver astonishing power. The quad-core, 8th Generation Intel Core processor device is an instrument of versatility, portability and power. It is said to be 1.5 times faster than its predecessor while offering the same all-day battery life.
It now features a 12.3-inch PixelSense display that is perfect for rendering designs on photo editing software, or for binge-watching serials on your favourite streaming apps.
For users and businesses who use Surface for ideation, they can continue to lean on the new generation to take their ideas to the next level by combining digital inking features and Surface Pen with everyday Artificial Intelligence (AI) features available on Office 365. With helpful time-saver features on Windows 10, including the password-free Windows Hello sign-in and Windows Timeline, users can get more done on their Surface Pro 6.

It is claimed to offer improved speed and performance thanks to the latest 8th Generation Intel Quad Core processor, the Surface Laptop 2 is 85 percent more powerful than its predecessor.
With up to 14.5 hours of battery life, Surface Laptop 2 is meticulously crafted with its premium design, PixelSense Touch Display, and best in class keyboard and trackpad. Available in Platinum, Surface Laptop 2 is more than a workhorse – it is a style statement.
And for the discerning, Surface Laptop 2 quiets the sounds you do not want to hear while amplifying the sounds you do want to hear. The laptop barely makes a sound when a user closes the lid or types on the Alcantara keyboard; the. Prices for the Surface Laptop 2 start from US$1,165 (RM4,829) and goes up to US$1,497 (RM6,199).
