Eight teams duke it out at the inaugural MPL Singapore league

  • Eight teams compete for total prize pool worth over US$74k
  • Winners will advance to regional and global MLBB leagues

Eight teams duke it out at the inaugural MPL Singapore league EIGHT local esports teams will battle it out for the championship crown of the inaugural Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League in Singapore (MPL Singapore). The league will be played through a regular season format, taking place from April 3 to April 24.

Jointly presented by Singtel's PVP Esports, Moonton Games, and powered by Singtel, season one of MPL Singapore will see the teams winning rewards from a total prize pool up to US$74,197 (SG$100,000), with the victorious team walking away with over US$22,261 (SG$30,000). 

Emerging victorious from the qualifiers and beating over 120 teams, NOTORIOUS VILLAINS and FORSAKEN will join RSG SG, EVOS SG, Kingsmen, ALMGHTY, IMPUNITY SG and Explorer in April and May for the regular season.

The final playoffs will take place between May 7 and May 9, where the last two teams standing will compete in a best-of-five format face-off that will culminate in the crowning of the first ever MPL Singapore champion.   

Individual player awards, such as the regular season most valuable player (MVP), playoff MVP, and tournament rookie, will be awarded to players who demonstrate exemplary performance and aptitude. The winners of MPL Singapore will advance to the regional and global Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) leagues and score a chance to compete with the best MLBB players globally.

Meanwhile, fans can participate in the PVP MPL iArena virtual treasure hunt challenge. Up to 1,000 winners will be rewarded with MLBB in-game items, including hero skin fragments and diamonds. Emulating a 'live' arena floor, players will have to hunt for treasure boxes located around the online site. The challenge will commence on March 29 onwards, till the last chest is found. 

MPL Singapore is supported by official partners H-TWO-O, Secretlab, EPOS Audio, Systane, Subway and Singtel Carrier Billing. 

The first match live of MPL Singapore will be on April 3, 1pm, at MPL Singapore, PVP Esports streaming platforms, and Singtel TV Sports Channel 113.
