Avanade appoints chief growth officer for APAC

AVANADE, a business technology solutions, cloud and managed services provider, has announced the appointment of Jeyan Jeevaratnam (pic) as chief ‘growth’ officer for Asia Pacific.
Prior to this, he spent six years as Avanade Australia general manager. In his new role, he will oversee Avanade’s growth strategy across the region, the company said in a statement.
He will lead the cross-functional regional team in sales, sales enablement, marketing, alliances, innovation, and growth and strategy.
The Australian business will now become the responsibility of Sarah Adam-Gedge, who has been appointed corporate vice president, Australian general manager. Based in Melbourne, she will work with Avanade’s leadership team to continue the growth agenda of recent years.
“I am really pleased to congratulate Jeyan and Sarah [Adam-Gedge] on their new roles within our leadership team,” said Ian Jordan, Avanade’s area president for Asia Pacific.
“Jeyan has done a phenomenal job in driving Avanade Australia’s growth and his move represents a significant step for our business as we accelerate the Asia Pacific growth agenda.
“His strong leadership and focus on customers will enable us to drive the next phase of growth by helping our customers take advantage of cloud and digital technologies,” he added.
Avanade was founded in 2000 and has 22,000 professionals in more than 20 countries, it says.
