FalconStor appoints Ingram Micro distributor for Singapore and Indochina

DISK-based data protection company FalconStor Software Inc has appointed Ingram Micro Asia as its distributor in the Singapore and Indochina markets.
"We are very pleased with the opportunity presented by FalconStor and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership,” said Francis Choo (pic, right), executive managing director at Ingram Micro.
“We believe the world-class data protection and recovery solutions from FalconStor will prove to be a successful addition to our portfolio,” he added.
Ingram Micro Asia Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ingram Micro Inc, headquartered in Singapore, is a wholesale provider of a wide range of computer products. It represents more than 90 vendors in Asia Pacific with more than 24,000 products, including application software, systems, networking, storage, printers and peripherals, FalconStor said in a statement.

The new partnership will further support FalconStor’s initiative to develop its reach in the region, the company said.
Ingram Micro will augment FalconStor’s expanding geographical coverage in sales, marketing, training and ongoing support for the Singapore and Indochina markets.
