HOMEGROWN healthcare solutions provider LAC Medical will be rolling out five-dimensional ultrasound technology with Samsung’s UGEO WS80 scanner, which it claims provides new levels of diagnostic accuracy.
It also gives parents an unprecedented experience to catch a glimpse of their babies like never before, the company said in a statement.
“We are proud to launch the latest premium 5D ultrasound in Malaysia,” said LAC Medical director Y.P. Liew.
“The Samsung UGEO WS80 will set a new standard in ultrasound imaging by [allowing] faster and safer diagnostic procedures, while at the same time delivering unparalleled user experience via mobile connectivity,” he said.
This is the second collaboration between LAC Medical and Samsung. Currently, LAC Medical also carries the latter’s digital radiography range of equipment.
LAC Medical currently has five sales and service centres nationwide in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Melaka, Kuantan, Kuching, and said it will soon launch two new centres in Kuala Terengganu and Johor Bahru.
In promoting the first 5D ultrasound in Malaysia, it will be collaborating with several hospitals nationwide to provide free 5D antenatal scanning for expectant mothers. Interested readers may follow updates via www.facebook.com/ilove5d.
