Digi pushes users to switch to 4G via bundled packagesDigi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) today has announced the introduction of Pakej PowerJimat, a newly enhanced device bundle package as one of its efforts to encourage more Malaysians to upgrade to a 4G device in light of the upcoming 3G shut down by Dec 31.

With Pakej PowerJimat, customers can now own the latest 4G smartphones and tablets affordably on a shorter 12-month contract period, Digi said in a statement

All devices are original and come with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty. Customers also enjoy guaranteed savings of at least RM240 (US$61) from the recommended retail price (RRP) for all devices.

Available with the Digi Postpaid 60 plan at RM60 (US$16) per month, Pakej PowerJimat is now open for new registrations, port-ins, and existing Digi customers.

For a limited time, customers will enjoy an upsized 30GB of high-speed, all-access internet and unlimited calls to all networks over the 12-month contract period if they sign-up between Oct 1 and Nov 30, Digi said.

Customers can choose from a wide variety of Android 4G smartphones and tablets from Samsung, OPPO, Vivo, Realme, Redmi and Lenovo starting from as low as RM1, Digi said.

Among the highlights in the range include the latest Samsung Galaxy A03s which is available for RM219; Oppo A16 for RM309; Samsung Galaxy A02 for RM19; and the Oppo A15 for just RM1.
