Entomo reorganises into two distinct businesses with Prithvi Shergill as Group CEO

In line with expanding its global footprint, entomo Pte Ltd President and Founder, Ravee Ramamoothie (pic, right) announced the restructuring of entomo (enterprise tomorrow) into two separate verticals under entomo labs – entomo experience and entomo halthcare.

“Entomo is at the cusp of a very interesting journey. Given our expansion into the healthcare vertical as a separate business line, I am proud to announce Prithvi Shergill (pic, left) as Group CEO to anchor our people experience business globally. Prithvi comes with an extra-ordinary experience of building global businesses and products. I am absolutely sure that under his leadership Entomo will scale even greater heights of creating value for clients and people”

Prithvi, entomo's former digital business lead who joined in 2019 as Chief Business Officer, when the business he co-founded merged with entomo, is mandated to further accelerate the innovation in talent and performance management, product evolution and client success through organization capability development, and market expansion.

With over three decades of expertise in enhancing intrapreneurial cultures, Prithvi has significant experience in seeding, nurturing, and harvesting grass-root innovations that can scale across industries and geographies. He has shaped many businesses and strengthened the collective health of enterprises he has been associated with during his career. These include his leadership roles across Accenture, HCL Technologies, SingTel, AT&T as well as some new ventures.

Under Prithvi’s leadership, entomo, with a footprint across over 15 geographies, will deepen and expand its SaaS solutions to impact the agenda on how people in Fortune 500 companies and large enterprises in Asia, the Middle East, Japan, and the Americas perform, engage, and grow.

Entomo’s healthcare vertical, launched in 2018 under Ravee’s leadership, with its augmented analytics platform delivering hyper-personalized insights for healthcare workers and patients has found substantial adoption. During the pandemic, entomo introduced an innovative self-service healthcare digital solution with its underlying nudge-based augmented analytics platform. This platform was used for disease tracking, risk status management, self-assessment, and vaccination management both for healthcare providers and recipients.

In the UAE, its solution is known as Reaya, where in June 2021 its platform was recognised as the “Most Valuable Technical Innovation in response to COVID 19” by an established MENA-based regional awards.

Despite two of its founders being Malaysian and its solution successfully powering Malaysia’s Covid management response via MySejahtera, recognition has been elusive in Malaysia with controversy, suspicion and criticism being the norm. Initially it was around public confusion over ownership of entomo (then called KPIsoft) not being Malaysian but rather US/Singapore owned, which next moved on to concerns the government was going to pay them an inflated amount for the service after the one year free CSR-based agreement ran out, to yet more confusion over who actually owned the data collected. An ongoing Parliament level inquiry is expected to soon clear the air (hopefully).

Founded in 2010 as KPIsoft, the company relaunched as entomo in 2021, as the world of work, workplaces, and workforces radically evolved. Entomo believes its platform powered by behavioral science and AI is built for this fast-evolving digital world of work.
