Celcom and Sunway in customer loyalty pact

CELCOM Axiata Bhd said it has sealed a partnership with Sunway Pals, a loyalty programme under Sunway Group, one of Malaysia’s biggest conglomerates.
The collaboration will benefit a combined customer base of more than 15 million, Celcom said in a statement.
The Celcom and Sunway alliance encompasses several areas of collaboration, aimed at strengthening customer loyalty whilst enhancing overall customer experience, the telco said.
“The partnership between Celcom and Sunway is a way forward to give recognition to our existing and potential customers,” said Celcom chief executive officer Shazalli Ramly.
The first phase of this partnership, comprising special Celcom packages for both new and existing Sunway Pals members, is now open for registration nationwide. Non-members can sign up at www.sunwaypals.com.my or visit Celcom Blue Cube, Sunway Pyramid.
More benefits will be introduced to customers in phases as the partnership roadmap is being drawn up, Celcom said.
Sunway Pals members will get to enjoy special value packages, exclusive plans and priority access to device launches, as well as special discounts on selected devices and services by Celcom.
Celcom customers on the other hand will be able to enjoy a free annual child pass to Sunway Lagoon with every purchase of an adult annual pass, the company said, adding that terms and conditions apply.
“Sunway Pals members will now get to enjoy even more rewards nationwide, in addition to the rewards that Sunway Group has already allocated to our communities,” said Ngeow Voon Yean, managing director of Sunway Group’s Property Investment Division.
