US technology giant Dell Inc is expecting a rather ‘flattish growth’ in Malaysia for next year, as companies increasingly feel the effects of the volatile currency exchange rates.
Dell has unveiled the PowerEdge C6320 high-performance computing (HPC) platform, the latest addition to its 13th generation Dell PowerEdge server portfolio.
Dell recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of its PowerEdge servers, saying that in 1995, only 5% of its revenue came from server sales, and it had just 3% market share, ranking seventh in server unit shipments.
Dell has unveiled in Malaysia what it described as its most advanced and easy-to-manage portfolio of PowerEdge servers, designed to help customers address and optimise the evolving spectrum of application and workload requirements.
Dell has announced a slew of products over the last couple of weeks, from servers to storage, including hardware optimized for Microsoft Corp’s new Windows Server 2012 operating system.
