Accenture and Alcatel-Lucent have formed a strategic alliance to help communications service providers (CSPs) and large enterprises implement integrated ultra-broadband solutions to address the challenges of rising costs and increased data consumption caused by high demand from digital customers and applications.
Alcatel-Lucent and Globe Telecom will be upgrading the latter’s wireless network infrastructure from WiMax to LTE-TDD and LTE-FDD to enable ultra-broadband access technologies. The two have signed a confirmation of award covering the Philippine regions of Visayas and Mindanao.
