DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (DiGi) recently hosted what it called the #IdeaJam, the first-ever idea accelerator session for its Challenge for Change (DiGiCFC) programme.
DiGi has launched the fifth edition of its annual DiGi Challenge for Change (DiGiCFC) programme, inviting Malaysians and app developers to come up with ideas for, or to build, community-centric mobile apps.
Having realised its business was no longer voice but the mobile Internet, DiGi also decided that the fourth edition of its DiGi Challenge For Change (DGCFC) programme should be more in line with its business, reports A. Asohan.
When it rolled out its 3G network in 2009, DiGi realised it had to act like an Internet company, but its advertising tagline 'Internet for All' became more than just that and is now part of the company's DNA (ahem!).
DiGi has announced the winners of the fourth edition of its Challenge for Change (DGCFC) programme, awarding over RM200,000 in prizes to ideators and application (app) developers for local community-centric mobile apps, built on the theme ‘Bringing Malaysians together, One App At A Time’.
