SOCIAL-tech enterprise Campaign.com recently announced that they received an undisclosed amount of investment from Indonesian online forum Kaskus co-founder Ken Dean Lawadinata.
Ken left Kaskus in 2016 and said that he would be taking a break from the tech industry.
For Ken, building a community as he did in Kaskus has a good impact on society.
“Building a community is important to help build a better Indonesia. I hope Campaign.com not only makes changes in Indonesia but also to the world,” he said in a press conference.
This investment is called as impact investment as it is expected to help Campaign.com make a better change for Indonesia and the world.
Established at the end of 2015, Campaign.com aims to drive change and create social impact as well as become a home for change makers to build Indonesia.
More than 200 individuals and communities in Indonesia and more than 60 individuals and communities from outside Indonesia have joined Campaign.com.
Campaign.com chief executive officer William Gondokusumo says that he has seen many social campaigns come and go. Campaign.com is here to help them carry out a sustainable campaign.
“We call them change makers. By involving change makers, improving their voice and actions, we believe good people, can build a better life, doing good things, in Indonesia and even the world,” he said in a statement.
