- MyTeksi and GrabTaxi users can win 2mth Deezer Premium+ subscriptions
- Premium+ gives users unlimited access to 30mil tracks online and offline
MUSIC streaming service Deezer and taxi-booking mobile app MyTeksi have kicked off a month-long contest which will offer users a chance to win a two-month Deezer Premium+ subscription.
The contest kicked off July 1 and ends July 31, and is aimed at MyTeksi users in Malaysia and GrabTaxi users in Singapore. GrabTaxi is the brand and app name for MyTeksi outside of its home market of Malaysia.
In Malaysia, both first-time and existing MyTeksi users will need to complete one successful ride as well as refer a first-time user to download and activate a MyTeksi account, Deezer said in a statement.
First-time GrabTaxi users in Singapore will need to download the application, activate their account and complete one successful ride to qualify.
All users are only allowed to participate once, Deezer said.
“Music is a perfect travel companion for many music fans, especially during their daily commutes,” said Dona Inthaxoum, head of label relations for Asia and Oceania at Deezer.
“Through this partnership with MyTeksi, we’re proud to bring additional enjoyment to taxi rides by giving passengers in Singapore and Malaysia direct and easy access to their favourite tracks without the worry of a stable Internet connection,” she said.
With Deezer Premium+, MyTeksi users have the ability to listen to over 30 million tracks on their computer and mobile device with enhanced sound quality, both online and offline. The offline mode allows them to enjoy their most listened-to playlists and albums while on the road, Deezer said.
“… we're thrilled that Deezer is offering MyTeksi passengers … free two-month Deezer subscriptions,” said MyTeksi general manager Adelene Foo.
“With unlimited access to millions of tracks, we want our passengers to be happy, rejuvenated and let music inspire them,” she added.
