MOLPay in pact with BCARD loyalty programme

ONLINE payment solutions provider MOLPay has partnered with BCARD to launch what it claimed was Malaysia’s first-ever payment gateway loyalty programme.
MOLPay has linked all its merchants and their customers with the BCARD reward programme, which allows online buyers to collect ‘BPoints’ and at the same time help merchants to grow their business.
All MOLPay merchants are eligible to join this loyalty programme for free, the company said in a statement.
BCARD membership is also free. Members collect BPoints when they spend at any of the participating outlets nationwide. The loyalty programme claims to have over 800,000 members, with 20,000 new members joining every month.
Founded in 2005, MOLPay offers a wide range of e-commerce payment solutions, from online payment acceptance and processing to fraud management to payment security. It claims to process more than RM1 billion in transactions a year.
In 2011, MOLPay became part of the MOL Global Group, one of the largest Internet companies in South-East Asia with offices in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, India and Australia/ New Zealand.
