SALESFORCE Singapore today earned the top accolade in the first-ever ‘Singapore Best Companies to Work for Awards,’ in a list that included Cisco Systems at No 2 and SAP at No 5.
The list was heavily dominated by multinationals.
The awards were organised by the Great Place to Work Institute, a San Francisco-based global human resources consulting, research and training firm which works with organisations as a part of its global research of best workplace cultures and programmes.
“At Salesforce, our core values are about customer success, innovation, giving back, and having fun,” said Salesforce area vice president Simon Tate.
“This award is a testament to the work we do in Singapore every day to live and breathe these values,” he said in a statement issued after the awards ceremony on Nov 6.
Salesforce said that the bedrock anchoring everything it does is the highly collaborative and real-time process to set the vision for the company called the V2MOM; an acronym that stands for vision, values, methods, obstacles, and measures.
“This tool is an exercise in collaboration and awareness in which the result is total alignment,” said Tate (pic).
“Every employee can view the CEO’s, the executive leadership’s and each other’s V2MOM.
“The result is a workforce that is aligned and focused, and that collaborates in real time on the direction of the company,” he added.
