ZTE slices in with Blade
 

ZTE has unveiled the ZTE Blade V7 series smartphones in Malaysia. The Blade V7 Lite is a 4G LTE dual SIM phone powered by a 1.0Ghz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735P processor, 2GB of RAM and uses Android 6.0.
 
It also has a 5-inch screen with a 1280x720 resolution, 13-megapixel rear camera, eight megapixel front camera, 2500 mAh battery and 16GB of storage.
 
Speaking at the launch, Danny Chan, Malaysia Channel Director, S.E.A Region of ZTE Devices Group said, “The ZTE Blade V7 Lite model was designed with our customers in mind. The innovative features packed in this high quality smartphone allow users to experience the likeness of a premium device at an affordable price of RM669. The phone will be available nationwide, from 16th May 2016 onwards”.
 
The company is offering a promotional price of RM499 for a limited time.
 
Along with the launch of the Blade V7 Lite, ZTE also launched the Blade V7 Max. The ZTE Blade V7 Max features a full-metal body that is 7.2mm thick. It is powered by a 1.8Ghz octa-core MediaTek MT6755M processor, 3GB of RAM with up to 32GB memory. It also has a fingerprint sensor and a screen resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and a 2.5D curved edge glass display.
 
In 2015, ZTE Malaysia Device Group achieved 3% of the overall smartphone market share in Malaysia. ZTE looks to achieve 10% of Malaysia’s smartphone market share in the next 3 years.
