The Vivo V7 Plus’s 5.9-inch “FullView” display has narrow 2.15mm bezels that skirt around its front and give it an 84% screen-to-body ratio as well as an elongated 18:9 screen-aspect ratio.

It is worth mentioning that the screen isn’t actually full HD and runs at a 1,440 x 720 resolution. Vivo says that the wider screen makes the device ideal for watching videos, reading and playing games.

Not forgetting regular photographers, the V7 Plus adds a 16-Megapixel camera on the back packed with Phase Detect Auto Focus  (PDAF) for faster focusing. Vivo says that the rear camera is also capable of merging four pictures into one to create a single super detailed 64-Megapixel image.

On the inside, the V7 Plus it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core CPU with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, that can be expanded up to 256GB, and a 3,225mAh battery.

In addition, it runs on Funtouch OS 3.2 that is on top of Android 7.1. Vivo has added its own brand of apps into the mix including its split screen mode Smart Split 3.0 for keeping two apps running at the same time, App Clone that allows users to run one app as two to log into the same social media app but with different accounts and Face Access that allows users to unlock their phone by looking at it.

Lastly, in terms of music, the V7 Plus integrates an AK476A Hi-Fi audio chip that Vivo says will enhance the music-listening experience on the device.
