Lenovo refreshes Legion gaming line for 2018


LENOVO has announced its new lineup of gaming-centric machines that feature tastefully designed laptops, tower sas well as small form PCs.

During the launch event, Lenovo debuted five new Legion devices: the Y730 laptop, C530 Cube, C730 Cube, T530 Tower and T730 Tower.

Leading the lineup, the Y730 is touted as the first gaming laptop to be equipped with a Dolby Atmos speaker system.

It also comes with Dolby Sound Radar that is said to offer virtual surround performance that comes in handy for first person shooter games regardless if you are playing with headphones or the built-in speakers.

Meanwhile, Lenovo's Legion C530 and C730 Cube are small yet mighty for gamers who need a lightweight and space-saving form factor.

The T730 and T53p towers serve as stunning centrepieces for a killer gaming setup. The Raven Black T530 sports a polished design in 28L chassis and has red lighting behind its thermal venting. It's higher end cousin the T730 has a full internal and external RGB system lighting with a clear window to see the internals.

All of the models are expected to be available in Malaysia by the end of 2018 with prices to be announced at a later date.

The first Legion laptop from Lenovo, the Y530 is out in the market now. The 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop is aimed at the discerning gamer who desires performance and portability. With a 24mm thick frame and weighing 2.3kg, the Y530 offers style and functionality at the same time.

The keyboard is an important element in the overall experience so it is a good thing the Y530 delivers a full-sized backlit keyboard with high-response keys that provide a great typing and gaming experience.

With a 15-inch Full HD thin bezel display complete with IPS Antiglare screen and a fast 144Hz refresh rate, the laptop is more than capable of bringing your favourite games to live anywhere you go.
