Digi Gamestrike awards prizes to winners of Fishy Fish mobile game tournament

GAMESTRIKE, a tournament-based mobile gaming portal, completed its tournament championship with an intensive round of live gaming between the top nine finalists.

The live tournament was concluded on Aug 2 with the top nine finalists bringing home prizes worth up to RM100,000.

The contestants were the nine highest scorers among thousands of Digi users who participated and uploaded their scores on the leaderboard for the game title "Fishy Fish" that was held between Jan 25 and May 30, 2018.

"Fishy Fish" is a simple, tapping game where players control Ms. Puffer, in an attempt to swim between pipe obstacles without hitting them while tasting every seafood the ocean has to offer (for extra points).

The nine finalists duelled it out on Aug 2, 2018 in order to determine their final rankings and win the prizes which totalled up to RM100,000.

The top prize, an Apple iPhone X, went to Mohd Sharil Amado Tolento, 28, for the top score achieved within 60 minutes of the live gaming session.

Coming in second and third place were Fitri Azrin Ghazali, 30, and Mohammad Aslan Atik, 32, who won a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 respectively.

Others also received mobile gadgets and e-vouchers as prizes including a Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Huawei P9 Plus, Huawei Nova 2 Plus and Samsung Galaxy J7.

For the next game title, Gamestrike continues with "Kill Shot Legacy", a first-person shooter game that takes place across different timelines including the Wild West, Alien Zone, Military Base and deep into the future.

Digi mobile users can easily join in the latest tournament by downloading Kill Shot Legacy which is available on the App Store and Google Play.
