BenQ introduces XL2540 pro gaming monitor

BENQ has its sights set its sights on the lucrative eSports market and has introduced its latest XL line of professional gaming monitors specifically designed for eSports players.
The Taiwanese display maker claims that its new Zowie XL2540 is the first gaming monitor on the market with a native 240Hz refresh rate.
According to BenQ, the higher refresh rate allows players to catch every detail of motion and enjoy fluid gameplay, allowing them to better track targets on screen and elevate their game performance.
The 24.5-inch monitor which has a native 1,920x 1,080 resolution, offers a set of optional blinders that can be attached to the side of bezels to block out light from nearby monitors to help gamers better focus on their game.
Maximising comfort while playing games, the XL2540 has a height adjustable stand that can be adjusted to suit every individual.
The monitor also comes with a dedicated switching device called the S Switch that easily allows gamers to access settings and switch between different presents and different monitors if they have a multi-monitor setup.
In terms of input and output connectors, the XL2540 comes with two HDMI connectors, DVI, headphone jack and microphone jack.
BenQ says its XL series of monitors are the monitors of choice for gamers at major international eSports tournaments that include Dreamhack, ESW, Intel Extreme Masters and ESL One.
The Zowie XL2540 gaming monitor will be available in March for at a suggested retail price of US$539 (RM2,399).
