Acer Malaysia’s ‘solid’ new addition to the Liquid Z family

ACER Malaysia has officially announced the Acer Liquid Z410, the latest addition to its Liquid Z family.

Packing a 64-bit quad-core 1.3GHz processor, its design allows users to experience high-resolution display and “astonishing” stereo sound, the company said in a statement. It comes with 8GB storage and 1GB RAM.

The new smartphone is perfect for everyone, including children, with its three profiled and customised user interfaces (UIs) of standard, easy and basic modes, Acer Malaysia said.

The curved design phone weighs in at 145g and measures 9.9mm, with a 4.5-inch Hi Res display and capacitive multi-touch screen with IPS technology.

It comes with a 5-megapixel f/2.4 auto focus rear camera, and a 2-megapixel 80-degree wide angle front camera for ‘wefie’ photos with just one click of the customisable AcerRapid button at the back.

In addition to the Quick Touch function, the camera also has a presentation mode, dual shot, favourite shot and hybrid UI for all-in-one quick control.

The Acer Liquid Z410 features up to 330 minutes talk time with up to 400 hours standby time.

Users can access and share information through Acer Extend, a seamless sync to connect with their laptop. This is an optimised way to engage with both Acer Liquid Z410 and laptop to transfer or share documents through modes such as drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste, Acer Malaysia said.

The new Acer Liquid Z410 runs on Android KitKat 4.4.4 with dual microSIM slots that are 4G-ready for flexible connectivity experience. The 4G LTE (Fourth Generation/ Long-Term Evolution) connectivity smartphone also allows users to connect through WiFi and Bluetooth.

Other standard features include Micro-SD as well as Micro-USB slots.

Priced at RM459 or US$126 (including 6% GST), the Acer Liquid Z410 is available in a ‘berry black’ colour and comes with a one-year local limited warranty.
