INTEL Malaysia has launched its “Be Amazing” PC refresher campaign which it said would highlight its latest products aimed at consumers.
The integrated campaign aims to reach more than 500,000 consumers nationwide, but is primarily focused on the connected youth in both urban and rural markets throughout the country, the company said in a statement.
“We believe that today’s mainstream users are extremely visual in their creation, consumption and communication of content. They demand a combination of mobility and style, and a high performance computing experience that is visually rich and seamless to suit their active lifestyles,” said Prakash Mallya, country manager of Intel Malaysia.
“The ‘Be Amazing’ campaign will help us meet the computing needs of these consumers with the latest product offerings by Intel, namely the Ultrabook and laptops powered by 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core processors,” he added.
A series of ‘Be Amazing’ roadshows will be held in 23 cities across 13 states, covering 200 PC retail outlets and 30 universities and colleges in Malaysia. They will feature an array of Ultrabooks and laptops, special promotional deals by original equipment manufacturers and various on-ground activities.
At the road shows, consumers will get the opportunity to have a hands-on experience of the Ultrabook, a new category of computers inspired by Intel.
Any consumer who purchases the above products at the roadshows, 200 participating PC retail outlets and key PC fair venues will be eligible to take part in the “Be Amazing” contest.
Consumers who purchase any PC will stand a chance to win shopping vouchers with a collective total of RM20,000. In addition, those who purchase any model of the Ultrabook will stand a chance to win the grand prize of a paid trip for two to Hong Kong to watch Wang Lee Hom (pic) live as well as exclusive passes to his private after-concert party.
Intel Malaysia recently appointed the multi-talented American-Taiwanese star as the spokesman for the Ultrabook in Malaysia.
This campaign will run from June 4 June until December 31. Participating OEM partners include Acer, Asus and Toshiba. For more details and the list of road show locations, please refer to Intel Malaysia’s Facebook Page.
