EasyStore, MOLPay partner to serve small businesses

EASYSTOREis collaborating with MOLPay to serve South-East Asia's small own-brand e-businesses. The partnership will kick off in Malaysia before moving to other countries in the region.
The partnership will provide a one-stop solution from website design and server hosting, to payment gateway solutions.
EasyStore chief technology officer, Frost Chen King Peng said that 40% of e-commerce revenue comes from repeat customers, who represent only 8% of all visitors. Repeat customers are therefore, critical to the growth of small businesses.
EasyStore has launched a new version of their plan which comes with a monthly subscription for all sellers in South-East Asia. The plan will help small businesses by lowering the barriers to opening an own-brand online store.
MOLPay now allows sellers to accept cash payments for online purchases. At participating online merchant sites, consumer can choose to pay using the MOLPay Cash option besides the current payment options such as credit cards, on the MOLPay payment page. Customers can pay cash at the nearest 7-Eleven outlet (Malaysia only).
According to the global Survey of Saving and Investment Strategies by Nielsen, covering 30,000 Internet respondents in 60 countries, 60% of Malaysian consumers said they preferred to pay in cash.
MOLPay also allows multi-currencies transactions at a reasonable cost allowing customers to make purchases in their own currency.
