Celcom declared ‘Asia’s best employer’

CELCOM Axiata Bhd said it has won the ‘Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2014’ held in Singapore recently.
Organised by Employer Brand Awards, the Award recognises employers and organisations that nurture the best talent in human resources development across Asia, Celcom said in a statement.
The awards were presented by the Employer Branding Institute, a virtual organisation that consists of outstanding human resources professionals in various countries.
“We at Celcom are very honoured and delighted to receive the ‘Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2014’,” said its chief executive officer Shazalli Ramly (pic).
“The win signifies our commitment in providing a conducive, dynamic and stimulating work environment that offers our employees the opportunities to realise their full potential,” he added.
Celcom recently also won two Malaysian human resources awards, namely the Prime Minister Award for Human Resources Excellence (Private Sector) and the 1Malaysia Employer Award (GLC), both of which were presented by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.
