Graduates get a cert in digital marketing and the Google AdWords Individual Qualification
Course managed by ClickAcademy Asia, syllabus developed by Econsultancy UK
EXECUTIVE training and development academy ClickAcademy Asia, in partnership with Marketing Magazine, will launch what they said was the first ‘double certification course’ in digital marketing in August.
Aimed at marketing, sales and communications professionals in Malaysia, the double certification course offers a credible certification programme for the digital marketing industry, the two said in a statement.
Graduates will be awarded a Certificate in Digital Marketing (by Econsultancy UK) and the Google AdWords Individual Qualification.
ClickAcademy Asia was established in 2011 in Kuala Lumpur to provide a professional community and learning platform. It works with professional associations and bodies, as well as content providers. It specialises in digital marketing training.
The course syllabus is developed from Econsultancy's digital marketing content portal. Econsultancy itself is a London-based digital marketing best practice community and publisher, which educates marketers on everything from web analytics and email marketing, to social media, public relations and e-commerce.
It provides independent research, consultancy services, and worldwide events and training for more than 140,000 members, and has offices in London, New York, Sydney, Singapore and Dubai. Econsultancy is part of Centaur Media Plc.
The double certification course is a two-month part-time programme for working professionals who intend to upgrade their knowledge in digital marketing. It covers topics ranging from the overview of digital marketing and customer acquisition channels to social media marketing.
Participants will only be certified after passing the Google AdWords exams and a digital marketing project, and complete at least 52 out of 64 contact hours.
The course starts on Aug 17, with classes in Petaling Jaya. For more information, click here.
