Follows addition of two new technology sales managers in Singapore
XCHANGING Plc has announced the appointment of Raymond Victor as vice president of Asia Pacific Sales, Xchanging Technology, reinforcing the company’s continued commitment to invest in the region.
Reporting to global head of Sales Dino Gelmetti, Victor (pic) will lead sales and business development across Asia Pacific for Xchanging’s Application Services, Engineering Services, Internet of Things, and Education Platform offerings.
Gelmetti said that Xchanging’s Technology sector has performed well in recent months, and the company has set challenging growth targets for the business, with a particular focus on the Internet of Things and education platforms.
The new appointment follows the addition of two new technology sales managers in Singapore, in line with the company’s growth plans.
“Raymond [Victor]’s expertise in implementing successful sales programmes, managing relationships and executing business opportunities will be a strategic asset for Xchanging.
“I am confident that his dynamic leadership will motivate and inspire the high-performing team, and we look forward to the future development of our regional sales capabilities,” he added, in a statement issued.
Victor expressed excitement over his new role with the business process, procurement and technology services provider.
“Together with support from our strong sales team, our main focus is to align our technology offerings with our customers’ business priorities and to continue achieving robust sales across the region,” he added.
Victor boasts over 20 years’ experience in the Information and Computer Technology (ICT) industry across multiple sectors including education.
In his most recent role as storage sales director at Oracle, he was responsible for developing and managing strategic marketing and sales initiatives, and for driving business growth for NAS, SAN and Tape products.
Victor has held senior positions at HP, IBM, Dell APAC and Nilai Resources Group; and is a graduate in Business Management with Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
