VADS Berhad has received the VMware Partner Network Award in the Enterprise Solution Provider Partner of the Year category for both the Global and Asia Pacific regions.
The awards were presented at VMware Partner Exchange 2014, VMware’s annual partner event, held in San Francisco in February, VADS said in a statement.
“VADS has come a long way since we first became part of the VMware Service Provider Programme (VSPP) in late 2012,” said VADS’ vice president of ICT services Fermin Fautsch, who received the awards on behalf of the company.
“Within one year, we have seen growth globally and we will continue to invest in this partnership to bring more value to our customers,” he added.
VADS is a Telekom Malaysia subsidiary which provides integrated managed information and communications technology (ICT) and business process outsourcing (BPO) services.
“We are pleased to acknowledge the achievements made in 2013 by our partners within the region,” said Dave O’Callaghan, senior vice president, Global Partner Organisation, VMware.
“VMware is dedicated to educating and equipping our partners with the resources they need to master the new reality of the software defined enterprise that enables more agile delivery of IT services.
“We congratulate VADS on winning a VMware Partner Network Award and look forward to our continued mutual success in 2014,” he added.
