IIJ Global Singapore expands data centre offerings with IO

DATA centre services company IO has announced a strategic relationship with IIJ Global Singapore, an Internet access and network solutions provider.

IO will be providing IIJ Global Singapore with colocation services built on a modular platform and integrated with a data centre infrastructure management (DCIM) tool.

The next-generation solution enables customers to securely monitor and manage capacity, space, power, cooling and IT from a single pane of glass, IO said in a statement.

IO will also leverage IIJ Global Singapore’s extensive customer network to expand its reach in the Singapore market, the company added.

By working with IO, IIJ Global Singapore will be able to increase the breadth of its data centre system integration offerings to include Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service. The company will leverage IO’s secure data centre in Singapore with a concurrently maintainable, fully redundant solution.

This relationship also creates the opportunity for IO customers to leverage IIJ Global Singapore’s value added cloud integration services onsite, IO said.
