HITACHI Data Systems Corporation (HDS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd, has appointed Neville Vincent (pic) as senior vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific.
He will be responsible for leading the company and providing strategic direction to drive growth and expand business throughout Asia Pacific, capturing emerging opportunities in this fast-growing region, HDS said in a statement.
Vincent has more than 20 years of international sales, marketing and management experience in the information technology industry. He has a successful track record as a country manager for multinational businesses in various Asia Pacific markets.
Prior to assuming his regional management role, he was vice president and managing director of Hitachi Data Systems Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, and managing director of Hitachi Data Systems Korea. These markets experienced rapid business growth under his leadership, HDS said.
“I’m very excited to lead Hitachi Data Systems in Asia Pacific, which continues to be one of the fastest growing regions for the company,” said Vincent.
“Looking to the future, the rapid economic development in Asia Pacific will provide us with tremendous opportunities. Our capabilities, technology and services enable companies across the region to reach better business outcomes.”

Vincent succeeds the former senior vice president and general manager Kevin Eggleston, who has been named senior vice president of Global Verticals and Integration.
