Cisco appoints new managing director for Singapore, Brunei

  • To focus on developing and maintaining key client relationships
  • Priority on making Cisco the partner which empowers both nations

Cisco appoints new managing director for Singapore, BruneiNETWORK giant Cisco has appointed Ang Thiam Guan (pic) as the company’s new managing director of Singapore and Brunei.

Based in Singapore, he reports to Saleh M. Munshi, president of Cisco Asean (Association of South-East Asian Nations).

Ang will focus on developing and maintaining key client relationships as well as the partner ecosystem for Cisco in Singapore and Brunei, said the company in a statement.

“Singapore and Brunei have both embraced the vision of becoming smart nations, investing heavily in technology and connectivity to set in motion their journeys. In my new role, I have one key goal – for Cisco to be the partner which empowers both nations, their business ecosystems and workforces with innovative solutions, to take economic growth into the next level,” said Ang.

Prior to his current role, Ang was the managing director of the Cisco Service Provider business across Asean.
