NEC Corp inks distribution deal with Springlab

• NEC Corporation and Springlab Distribution have inked an agreement to jointly expand the distribution of NEC’s portfolio of IT platform products throughout Malaysia

NEC CORPORATION Malaysia and Springlab Distribution have inked an agreement to jointly expand the distribution of NEC’s portfolio of IT platform products throughout Malaysia.
 
Under the agreement, Springlab will be a local value-added distributor for NEC’s IT platform business, which includes servers, storage and notebooks.
 
Commenting on the agreement, managing director of NEC Corporation Malaysia Andrew Lee (pic) said the company sees “great synergy in the collaboration between NEC and Springlab.”
 
“NEC has the domain technology for IT platform products, while Springlab is an established distributor with extensive reach in this industry and market. We look forward to a lasting relationship with Springlab through this initial collaboration to jointly expand our presence in Malaysia,” he said.
 
Through this collaboration, NEC will be able to strengthen its presence in the market through Springlab’s extensive network of strategic partners and resellers in Malaysia.
 
Springlab is a value-added distributor of leading network infrastructure, storage and data center solutions with a network of specialty resellers catering from mid to enterprise market, offering a wide portfolio of focused products and solutions along with expertise and experience to address complex business challenges faced by clients and customers.
 
With this agreement, Springlab can now better serve customers via its dedicated technical and sales engineering teams who are able to design and manage solutions, and a 24/7 Help Desk & Support center. The company also has a Center of Excellence (Demo Center) to showcase and market NEC’s products and solutions.
