ICT solutions and services provider Dimension Data said it has completed the acquisition of the communications division of the Singapore-headquartered Jebsen & Jessen Group of companies in South-East Asia.
The acquisition includes Jebsen & Jessen Communications operations in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, the company said in a statement.
On Aug 25, 2015, Dimension Data had announced its intent to acquire the company on certain conditions being met, as set down and agreed by both parties.
“This acquisition will add over 200 clients and extend the technology portfolio of our communications business,” said Dimension Data Asia Pacific chief executive officer Bill Padfield.
“As a result, the new clients will now have access to Dimension Data’s extensive global network of experts and a broader portfolio of solutions.
“Similarly, our clients will also benefit immensely, as this acquisition will position Dimension Data as the ‘go-to’ partner for all their unified communications, collaboration and customer experience services.
“The acquisition will deepen our contact centre capabilities and extend our partner portfolio to include Avaya, making us the only system integrator with in-depth capabilities in Cisco, Avaya and Microsoft,” he added.
Jebsen & Jessen Communications will be rebranded as Dimension Data and fully integrated into the company’s communications business by mid-2016.
Jebsen & Jessen Communications, with 240 employees, designs, installs, maintains and supports solutions including unified communications and collaboration, contact centres, and mobility solutions.
