Jet Commerce expands to China and Philippines

JET Commerce, a leading e-commerce enabler company in Indonesia, today announced that it has expanded its international footprint to China by acquiring Brand Top, China-based e-commerce enabler and to Philippines with the new office opening in Taguig City.

The international expansion is part of Jet Commerce’s strategy in gaining global brand partners, as well as to accelerate company’s vision to become the most trusted and reliable e-commerce service company in Southeast Asia.

The new name in China, Jet Commerce was chosen to better reflect the company’s strategic focus on end-to-end e-commerce solution. Jet Commerce in China combines Jet Commerce’s expertise in online retail, multi-channel marketing, and fulfillment & operations with Brand Top’s strength in digital marketing, big data management, and creative design. The new e-commerce enabler will be led by chief executive officer, Chad Zheng (pic), previously CEO of Brand Top.

“This is an important moment for Jet Commerce as we continue to expand all the efforts and solutions internationally. Chad and his team have built a portfolio of e-commerce businesses operating at impressive scale. Their wealth of knowledge and deep market expertise in China will ensure our continued success as the brands’ official partner in distributing their products online,” said Oliver Yang, chief executive officer of Jet Commerce in Indonesia.

Zheng said: “Becoming Jet Commerce after such a great run as Brand Top is a big move that demonstrates our ambition to help brands giving the best online shopping experience to the consumers. We are really excited by the fresh offerings we will bring to both our brand partners and consumers.”

Expansion to China and Philippines, after Vietnam and Thailand reflects the rapid growth of Jet Commerce’s business and growing regional demand for integrated e-commerce solutions.

Jet Commerce is currently operating over 100 official online stores on 13 well-known Asia-based e-commerce platforms. A total of 56 brands that have established strategic partnerships are from various categories, including electronic products, health & beauty, mom & baby, household products, toys, and pet food.
